oakland road we have another accident moved to the right-hand shoulder. it is a little bit slow beyond the seen as they move that from lane two to the right-hand shoulder. elsewhere we have a problem northbound 880 on the shoulder now cleared so that accident is looking good through fremont and getting busy on the east shore freeway moving to richmond and to the berkeley area and macarthur maze. kristen and eric? >> we follow breaking news from london where a helicopter crash in the middle of the city killed two people and injured 13. the two dead, one the pilot, the other is someone on the ground, it happened during the morning rush hour at midnight our time. the helicopter hit a crane on top of a high-rise building. they are working to secure the crane. there is no immediate danger of collapse. no word on the exact cause. it could take months to sort out. there are low clouds and fog. authorities say it was shrouding the tower. the pilot was diverting a landing because of bad weather and that terrorism does not appear to be likely. >> now, japan has grounded the entire fleet of boein
. kristen and eric? >> we start 6:00 with developing news from the abc7 at 11. right knew, oakland police are still surrounding a neighborhood after someone opened fire and wounded an undercover officer. amy joins us live with the search underway. amy? >> this is still in sign of the two men they are looking for. look behind me, the swat team is still engaged in this case with a section of seminary blocked off. you can see the swat vehicle located in the middle of the street. no one is being allowed in or out without a police escort. the officers approve who gets in or out. we were overhead when police say an officer was shot at 6:30. he was working undercover vetting another shooting when he was confronted by three armed men. police say he was shot in the arm. they were able to arrest one suspect. the other two suspects got away. police are still looking on them but they need help. >> we want to ask the community to continue to be vigilant. please contact the oakland police department nonemergency number reporting suspicious activists involving two individuals from the area. >> the chief

in oakland at 9:00 in a hotel. officers say he surrendered peacefully. he is accused of setting his girlfriend on fire. the 25-year-old starr lamare, she has three small children, was dating oliver. her smoldering sweater was lying in street after she ripped it off. this is an image that was so disturbing for the witnesses. they say it was horrible to watch her run and scream and trying to get sweater off. this happened sunday afternoon. witnesses say the couple was arguing and oliver got gasoline and he pored it on on starr lamare and lit her on fire. she has burns to her face and she will probably be in the hospital for four to five months. one of her sisters told me that she was hoping he would be caught alive. she said she thought debt was too easy and she wants him to sit in jail and think about her sister. he now is in jail and bliss will charge him with arson and attempted murder. live in san francisco for abc7 news. >> thankthank you, this morninge bar pilot who was guiding an oil tanker that scraped the bay bridge yesterday is due to face investigators' questions. the tanke

oakland. the first took place at 2:30 yesterday on east 17th street. another person died on cannon avenue and a third victim died after being shot on 24th street around 4:15 and gunfire took a fourth victim around 8:20 last night on hillside street. sky 7hd shows this view of officers at the scene of the first shooting, again, on 17th street. officers were also looking for clues and witness at the second crime scene year diamond canyon park. no arrests have been made in any of the shootings. >> sonoma body sheriffs detectives have identified a man whose body was found as a recycling facility. he is originally from mexico but he has lived in both santa rosa and eureka. he would sometimes stay with family members but he was a known transient. sky 7hd was overhead after a worker found the body at a recycling facility in petaluma yesterday afternoon. investigators say gomez diaz did not work at the disposal services. there are no obvious signs of trauma, but detectives are treating the death as suspicious. >>> about 150 people came together in san francisco's mission district demanding a stop

temperatures from 47 in fairfield to 52 in oakland and san francisco and mountain view and half moon bay and headed to monterey bay with the rain temperature is 49 at watsonville and everyone else is 50 to 52 degrees. in the forecast cycle, we have a chance of a shower and it will taper headed into the evening hours patchy fog forming tonight and the next system brings us cooler weather saturday, sunday, and monday and a chance of scattered light showers today you can see the wall of water to the south and the curl in the atmosphere which is the final push from the system coming at us from the south bringing the best chance of showers across the south bay. you can see to the south best chance of showers through the morning commute and we get a break toward noon. you can see the next low coming in and bringing us our best chance of showers south of the golden gate bridge but the best measurable area is south bay. overnight we have a break with fog forming tomorrow morning but sunshine in the afternoon tomorrow and scattered showers saturday and sunday. snow level is 5,000 feet on saturday

. katie. >> all right, lisa. thank you. >>> >>> an oakland police officer is recovering this morning after being shot in the leg. he is the second officer wounded in the line of duty this week. last night's shooting appeared in the fruitvale district. on monday an undercover officer was shot the arm about a mile away. abc7 news reporter allen wong reports. >> reporter: place say this camaro ran a stop sign and got broadsided by this chevy impala at east 12th street and 37th -- 47th avenue. witnesses say the driver of the camaro didn't have any id and he was behaving erratically. they said he tried and failed to open the door of a passing car and then left the scene on foot. during the course of that investigation the officer heard several gunshots several blocks away. the police chief howard jordan tells us two officers left the crash scene and headed toward the gunshots. they were confronted by a gunman who shot one officer in the leg and then ran away. the police caught up with him two blocks away. >> at that time one officer fired his weapon at the suspect. they did not hit him. the sus
